Noida International Airport (NIA) has partnered with GrayMatter Software Services, a leading analytics company specializing in digital transformation for airports and the retail sector. This partnership underscores NIA’s commitment to adopting innovative technologies to achieve operational excellence.

NIA is set to deploy GrayMatter’s StoreSense product to collect real-time sales data from 170 point-of-sale (POS) terminals across the airport, enhancing the shopping experience for travellers. StoreSense will integrate with NIA’s core operational systems, including the SAP Real Estate module for billing and the SITA Airport Operational Data Base (AODB) for flight and passenger records.

Several prominent concessionaire brands that will implement StoreSense include Heinemann Asia Pacific, BBM Group, HMSHost, Haldiram, Starbucks, TFS (Travel Food Services) Pvt Ltd, Mahindra Logistics, Uber, Rapido, Global Exchange, and Apollo.

StoreSense collects real-time sales data from point-of-sale systems and printers. It uses contract rules to categorize sales data by product and ensures fast billing with accurate reconciliations. Through role-based analytics, it provides insights across airport levels and generates executive dashboards and detailed reports to help NIA teams improve retail performance and enhance the passenger experience.
